**Hyderabad, India:** Jr NTR’s highly anticipated action drama “Devara Part 1” has made a strong debut at the box office, earning over ₹70 crore on its opening day in India. According to Sacnilk.com, the film’s Telugu version alone garnered ₹68.6 crore, while the Hindi version contributed an additional ₹7 crore.

This impressive opening places “Devara Part 1” as the second biggest opener of 2024 in India, trailing only Prabhas’ “Kalki 2898 AD” which collected ₹95 crore on its first day. The film’s strong performance is attributed to the star power of Jr NTR, who plays a dual role in the movie, and the intriguing storyline revolving around a clash of wills in a coastal setting.
