**LOS ANGELES** – Nancy O’Dell, a familiar face from entertainment news programs like “Access Hollywood” and “Entertainment Tonight,” is returning to her roots with a new true crime series, “Crime Exposé With Nancy O’Dell.” The show, debuting on September 23rd, marks a unique foray into the world of syndicated true crime, a space O’Dell describes as “never been done before.”

“Crime Exposé” will delve into one solved crime case per episode, offering viewers a detailed look at the investigation and the suspects involved, ultimately revealing the perpetrator and the resolution of the crime. The series is cleared in 98% of the U.S., reaching audiences across major markets like New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, as well as a vast number of other locations.

O’Dell, who began her career as a crime reporter and local news anchor in South Carolina and Miami, expressed her enthusiasm for returning to her investigative origins. “I always loved it,” she said, recalling her early experiences as a reporter. “I literally would go into that job every day, just finding it fascinating – some of the police work and the detective work that would be done.”

“Crime Exposé” goes beyond simply presenting intriguing criminal cases. Each episode includes a “Safety Spotlight,” featuring law enforcement insights and tips relevant to the episode’s crime, aiming to educate viewers on how to avoid becoming victims. O’Dell emphasizes the importance of empowering viewers with knowledge, citing the show’s potential to “learn how not to become a victim.”

By sharing the stories of victims and their families, O’Dell hopes to offer a voice to those grieving and to prevent similar tragedies from occurring. She believes that “Crime Exposé” offers a unique blend of compelling storytelling, informative safety insights, and a touch of closure for viewers.

“Hopefully they will take away something… they hear in the story or… safety spotlight is at the very end of the show… that gives information of what they can do to prevent this from happening,” she concluded.
