**Jaipur, Rajasthan:** Rhea Singha from Gujarat has been crowned Miss Universe India 2024 at a dazzling finale held in Jaipur on Sunday evening. The event, organized by the Glamanand Group, marked the first time the group selected India’s representative for the prestigious Miss Universe pageant.
Singha, 19, beat out 50 other contestants from across the country to claim the coveted title. She also won the Miss Glamorous subtitle award.
Nagaland’s Ruopfuzhano Whiso, a former Miss Kohima and Femina Miss India Nagaland, secured the Fourth Runner-Up position. Whiso, 24, was chosen to represent Nagaland in the competition through an open audition earlier this year.
Maharashtra’s Pranjal Priya was named First Runner-Up, while NRI Chhavi Verg from New Jersey, USA and West Bengal’s Sushmita Roy were crowned Second and Third Runner-Up respectively.
Singha will now represent India at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, scheduled to be held on November 16th in Mexico.
