**Mumbai, India -** Arkade Developers, a prominent real estate developer in Mumbai, began trading on the stock exchanges today with a strong opening price. The company’s initial public offering (IPO) had been heavily oversubscribed, receiving 106.40 times the number of shares offered.

The IPO, which raised ₹410 crore, was entirely a fresh issue. The shares were priced at ₹128, the upper end of the price band set at ₹121-128. The strong investor interest was evident in the significant grey market premium (GMP) of ₹63 (49.22%) observed before the listing.

Upon listing, shares of Arkade Developers opened at ₹175.90 on the BSE, marking a 37.42% premium over the issue price. On the NSE, shares opened at ₹175, reflecting a 36.71% jump. The company’s market valuation stood at ₹3,232.40 crore.

Arkade Developers’ successful listing is attributed to the company’s strong track record in developing premium residential projects in Mumbai and the strong investor confidence in the Indian real estate sector. The company plans to use the proceeds from the IPO to fund ongoing and upcoming projects, acquire future real estate projects, and for general corporate purposes.

Despite a positive opening, the stock experienced some volatility during the day. As of 10:38 am, shares were trading at ₹177.26 on the NSE, up 1.29% from the opening price. However, by 10:20 am, the stock had dipped to ₹168.74, down 3.58% from the opening price.

Overall, Arkade Developers’ initial listing suggests a positive outlook for the company. While the stock experienced some fluctuations in the early hours of trading, the strong opening and overall investor interest indicate a promising start for the real estate developer.
