**Jaipur, Rajasthan:** Rhea Singha, an 18-year-old from Gujarat, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2024, beating out 51 other contestants at the grand finale held in Jaipur on Sunday. The prestigious event saw former Miss Universe Urvashi Rautela crown the young beauty queen, who expressed her gratitude and excitement in a heartfelt statement.
“I am so thankful for this opportunity,” said Singha. “I have worked so hard to reach this point, and I am deeply inspired by the previous winners.”
Singha, a TEDx speaker and aspiring actor, showcased her talent and grace throughout the competition, dazzling the audience with her stunning outfits. She wore a shimmery peach-golden gown for the evening wear segment and a metallic red bikini for the swimsuit round, displaying both elegance and fitness. Her final look, a white-red-yellow dress with a veil and Shivling, paid homage to her cultural heritage.
While Singha took the top spot, the competition was fierce. Pranjal Priya was named the first runner-up, followed by Chhavi Verg in second place. Sushmita Roy and Ruopfuzhano Whiso secured the third and fourth runner-up positions, respectively.
