Singapore, October 1, 2024 – Lando Norris claimed a dominant victory at the Singapore Grand Prix, extending his winning streak and further closing the gap on championship leader Max Verstappen. The McLaren driver converted his pole position into a comfortable win, finishing 20 seconds ahead of Verstappen and reducing the Dutchman’s lead to just 52 points.

Norris showcased exceptional pace throughout the race, keeping Verstappen at bay and managing his tires effectively. He had a few close calls with the walls, but ultimately controlled the race with a masterful performance.

The race saw a number of notable performances. Oscar Piastri finished third, continuing his impressive rookie season and further boosting McLaren’s constructors’ championship lead over Red Bull. Charles Leclerc recovered from a difficult qualifying to finish fifth after a late charge through the field.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo, who may be racing for the final time in Singapore, set the fastest lap after a late move to soft tires.
