**Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the United States on a three-day visit, where he will participate in the Quad Leaders’ Summit and address a UN summit. Upon his arrival at Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday, PM Modi was greeted by a large gathering of Indian expats who welcomed him with traditional drums, chants of “Modi-Modi,” and waving Indian flags.

PM Modi acknowledged the warm welcome and interacted with the Indian community members, some of whom even managed to get his autograph.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) took to X (formerly Twitter) to highlight the significance of PM Modi’s visit, stating, “PM Narendra Modi arrives in the historic city of Philadelphia. A busy day ahead with bilateral engagements and the Quad summit in Wilmington, Delaware. Stay tuned.”

In a separate post on X, PM Modi expressed his admiration for the Indian diaspora’s achievements, stating, “The Indian community has distinguished itself in the USA, making a positive impact across diverse sectors. It’s always a delight to interact with them.”

He further announced that he would be addressing the “Modi and US” program in New York City on Sunday, September 22nd, around 9:30 PM IST.

PM Modi also posted on X about his busy schedule, stating that his agenda for the day focused on the Quad Summit and a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden. He expressed his confidence that the day’s discussions would contribute to global progress and address critical global challenges.
