**Mumbai, India:** The highly anticipated Coldplay concert in Mumbai has sparked chaos and excitement in equal measure, with the online ticketing platform BookMyShow crashing within minutes of ticket sales opening on Sunday.

Despite the website being restored, fans faced long queues, prompting BookMyShow to add a new show date on January 21, 2025. This decision was made in response to the overwhelming demand for tickets, with fans expressing frustration over the website’s performance.

“A NEW SHOW HAS BEEN ADDED FOR 21 JAN 2025!!” announced BookMyShow on Instagram. “Head on to the event page on #BookMyShow and hit the ‘Book Now’ button at 1.30 PM IST,” they instructed, detailing a waiting room and queue system for ticket purchase.

The Grammy-winning band is bringing their Music of the Spheres World Tour to Mumbai, marking their return to the city since 2016. Scheduled for January 18 and 19, 2025, the concerts at the DY Patil Sports Stadium promise two nights of unforgettable music and spectacle.

Fans expressed their disappointment with BookMyShow’s handling of the ticketing process, with many pointing out past issues with the platform.

To ensure a fair chance for all fans, BookMyShow implemented a limit of four tickets per user across all shows. The platform also announced a limited number of “Infinity Tickets” priced at approximately ₹2000, available for purchase in pairs on November 22, 2024.
