Finnish symphonic metal veterans Nightwish have released their tenth studio album, “Yesterwynde,” a haunting journey through memory and monumental music. The album, known for its heavy, orchestral, melodic, and folk influences, is a treasure chest of wonders that transports listeners to a magical world beyond time.
The band has also unveiled a music video for their song “Lanternlight,” a poignant and reflective ballad that explores themes of loss and mortality. The video showcases the song’s intensity and quiet beauty.
Nightwish’s mastermind, Tuomas Holopainen, shared his thoughts on the new album: “‘Yesterwynde’ is finally here and ready to open its cabinet of stories, timelessness and hope for you dear listener. We are infinitely grateful that we get to share this ocean and all of its islands with you all.”
