**San Francisco, CA -** Midi Health, a virtual care platform specializing in women’s health needs during perimenopause and menopause, has secured an additional $5 million in its oversubscribed Series B funding round. This brings the total raise to $63 million.
The latest investment comes from a unique Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created by a group of influential female investors, demonstrating a growing commitment to women’s health innovation.
Leading the investment are actors and producers Amy Schumer and Connie Britton, soccer star Brandi Chastain, fashion designer Tory Burch, Phenomenal Media’s Meena Harris, and investor and Angel City FC cofounder Kara Nortman.
The venture fund run by former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg and her husband Tom Bernthal, along with other prominent female executives from companies like Waymo, Stripe, PagerDuty, and Toast, also participated in the round.
“I have noticed a clear gap in companies that prioritize the needs of women,” stated Amy Schumer in a statement. “Midi is breaking new ground for women 35+ as their healthcare needs evolve. This SPV investment was a unique way for leaders across different industries to come together and ensure women’s health is not an afterthought.”
Midi, based in California, offers virtual care services to women 40 years and older through a platform staffed by nurse practitioners specializing in perimenopause and menopause. The platform provides a range of interventions including lifestyle coaching and prescription medication, overseen by physicians and researchers.
This funding follows a successful Series A round led by Google Ventures last year, and a $14 million seed investment in 2022. Midi has strategically partnered with organizations like Hinge Health, Keck Medicine of USC, Neurotrack, and Memorial Hermann Health System to expand its reach and offer comprehensive care solutions.
This latest round brings Midi’s total funding to $100 million, solidifying its position as a leading innovator in women’s health. The company’s focus on virtual care and personalized treatment plans is addressing a critical gap in healthcare services for women transitioning through menopause.
