**Wardha, Maharashtra:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Wardha district on Friday, September 22nd, to commemorate the first anniversary of the Vishwakarma Yojna, a government scheme aimed at empowering artisans. He will distribute loans and certificates to 18 beneficiaries representing 18 different trades, symbolizing the scheme’s tangible support.

The PM will also release a commemorative stamp honoring the legacy of artisans and their contribution to society.

In a significant development, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati. This 1,000-acre park, developed by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), is one of seven such parks approved by the government to boost the textile industry.

Modi will further launch two state-level schemes:

* **Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center scheme:** This scheme will establish training centers in renowned colleges across Maharashtra to provide skill development training to youths aged 15 to 45, making them self-reliant and improving their employability.
* **Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme:** This scheme will provide early-stage support to women-led startups in Maharashtra, offering financial assistance up to Rs 25 lakh. A significant portion of the scheme will be reserved for women from backward classes and economically weaker sections.

**Second Visit and Political Significance:**

The Prime Minister will also visit Washim district on September 26th, paying obeisance at the Poharadevi temple, an important pilgrimage center for the Banjara community.

Modi’s visit to Maharashtra holds significant political weight as the state prepares for Assembly elections in November. This visit comes amidst a crucial meeting of the Mahayuti (grand alliance) partners, BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, to discuss seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming elections.

**Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Visit:**

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also be in Maharashtra for two days, from September 24th to 25th. He will conduct meetings with state party leaders in Nagpur, Sambhaji Nagar, Kolhapur, and Nashik, addressing intra-party issues and discussing the Mahayuti alliance.

Shah’s visit is seen as a crucial move to strengthen the alliance and ensure a united front for the upcoming elections.
