**New Delhi, India** – Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release the Galaxy A56, the successor to the popular Galaxy A55. While Samsung has not confirmed its existence, the phone has been spotted on the IMEI database, hinting at an early 2024 launch.
The Galaxy A56 is expected to feature Samsung’s new Exynos 1580 chipset, codenamed ‘Santa,’ which is rumored to be as powerful as the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Exynos 1580 has been spotted on Geekbench, showcasing impressive performance with a multi-core score of 3,678.
This performance boost is a significant upgrade from the Galaxy A55’s Exynos 1480 chipset.
The Galaxy A56 is anticipated to launch in the first quarter of 2024, likely in March, coinciding with the release of the Galaxy A55.
While the exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, the Galaxy A56 is expected to retain some of the features of its predecessor, including a 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Samsung’s new flagship in the A series is expected to be a strong contender in the mid-range segment, thanks to its powerful performance and competitive features.
