**Mumbai:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Maharashtra today, where he will lay the foundation stone for the PM MITRA Park in Amravati and participate in the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ program in Wardha.
**Key Highlights of the PM’s Visit:**
* **Launch of Skill Development Schemes:** PM Modi will inaugurate the **’Acharya Chanakya Kaushal Vikas Yojana’**, aimed at training individuals between 15-45 years to become self-reliant. This scheme will provide free skill development training to approximately 1.5 lakh youth annually. He will also inaugurate the **’Punyalok Ahilyabai Holkar Mahila Startup Scheme’**, offering financial assistance of up to Rs. 25 lakh to women-led startups in the state.
* **Foundation Stone Laying for PM MITRA Park:** The PM will lay the foundation stone for the PM MITRA Park in Amravati, which will be built on an area of approximately 1000 acres. The park is designed to promote textile manufacturing and exports, and is one of seven such parks being established across India.
**Earlier Visit:** PM Modi last visited Maharashtra on August 30th, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various projects worth Rs. 76,000 crore. He also apologized for the incident involving the falling of Chhatrapati Shivaji’s statue.
This visit highlights the PM’s focus on skill development, women empowerment, and promoting textile manufacturing in India.
