Italian luxury fashion house Stone Island has tapped renowned architect Philippe Starck as a model for its Autumn Winter 2024-2025 collection campaign. The campaign, part of Stone Island’s “Community as a Form of Research” project, features Starck in a series of portraits showcasing the brand’s minimalist Ghost line.

The portraits, shot by renowned photographer David Sims, feature Starck sporting a hooded parka from the Ghost range, known for its minimalist designs and camouflage-inspired concept. The photographs also include the black AI dining chair, designed by Starck for Kartell.

Starck joins a diverse group of figures from the worlds of design, sport, and music in the campaign, including producer Peggy Gou, musician Liam Gallagher, actor Russell Tovey, and architect Joseph Grima. Stone Island also published a 100-question interview with Starck, conducted by critic Hans Ulrich Obrist, offering insight into the architect’s design philosophy and influences.
