**Wardha, Maharashtra:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Wardha, Maharashtra today to launch a slew of development initiatives, including the Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centre scheme and the commemoration of one year of the Vishwakarma Yojana.

During the event, PM Modi distributed credit to 18 Vishwakarma Yojana beneficiaries across various trades and issued certificates. A commemorative stamp marking one year of the scheme was also released. Additionally, the foundation stone for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Amravati was laid.

The Congress, meanwhile, urged PM Modi to clarify his stance on Mahatma Gandhi and his assassin Nathuram Godse, citing recent instances of eulogizing Godse by certain Hindutva leaders. Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, also raised concerns about the plight of farmers in Vidarbha and the implementation of the Forest Rights Act.
