**New Delhi, India** – The Union Labour Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, has announced a three-month target to onboard all aggregators, gig workers, and platform workers onto the e-Shram platform. This initiative aims to provide social security benefits to the rapidly growing gig workforce in India.

Mandaviya emphasized the need for registration on the e-Shram portal, stating it is crucial for extending further benefits under various government initiatives. To ensure an inclusive framework, the Ministry will form a dedicated committee to gather input from all stakeholders, including aggregators, workers, and industry experts.

The meeting with platform aggregators focused on developing a comprehensive framework to address the unique needs of this workforce, aiming to ensure access to essential social security protections. Aggregators were urged to assist in the registration drive and ensure all eligible workers are registered on the portal.

Mandaviya also encouraged aggregators to list their job vacancies on the National Career Service (NCS) portal, a government initiative that provides employment-related services.

The meeting was attended by representatives from major platform aggregators including Urban Company, Swiggy, Zomato, Porter, Amazon, Uber, Ola, as well as organizations like FICCI, Deloitte, and the Employer’s Federation of India.
