The agreement aims to protect Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from exploitation by illegal recruiters, traffickers, and syndicates. Key initiatives include:
* **Public information drives on safe migration**: Raising awareness among potential OFWs about the dangers of illegal recruitment and the importance of choosing legitimate recruitment agencies.
