**LONDON, September 18, 2024** – Hunting PLC, a global precision engineering group, has announced a significant expansion of its strategic partnership with CRA Tubulars B.V., a Dutch innovator in advanced composite tubing. This expanded collaboration will focus on accelerating the development and commercialization of Titanium Composite Tubing (TCT) technology, a key element in Hunting’s ambitious growth strategy targeting energy transition markets, including carbon capture and storage (CCS).

TCT technology offers substantial advantages for well design and performance compared to traditional corrosion-resistant alloy tubing, especially in CCS projects and highly corrosive oil and gas well completions. The partnership’s territory will now extend beyond North America to encompass the entire European region, including the EU, the UK, Iceland, Norway, and Switzerland.

In addition to the financial investment Hunting made in CRA in August 2024, the expanded agreement includes a range of technical support from Hunting. This includes access to Hunting’s premium connection technology for TCT pipe, engineering and testing facilities, and expertise in establishing robust quality management systems. Hunting will also actively support CRA’s marketing efforts in Europe and North America, further accelerating the adoption of TCT technology.

This expansion builds upon the original agreement announced in July 2023, demonstrating both companies’ commitment to the successful development and commercialization of TCT. The partnership positions Hunting as a key player in the emerging CCS market, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
