**Mumbai, India** – Salim Khan, the father of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, was allegedly threatened by a burqa-clad woman on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Carter Road. The woman, who was accompanied by a man on a motorcycle, invoked the name of imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, known for his alleged involvement in the murder of rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
The woman reportedly told Salim Khan, “Lawrence Bishnoi ko bulau kya (should I call Lawrence Bishnoi)?” The incident follows a previous attack on Salman Khan’s Bandra home in April, which authorities believe was orchestrated by the Bishnoi gang.
The Bandra police have filed a case against the two individuals and are actively tracking them down. While police consider the incident a prank, it has heightened security concerns for the Khan family.
In the previous attack on April 14, two men on a motorcycle fired five rounds outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, and the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has been invoked against nine accused, including Bishnoi.
The incident has once again brought to light the threats faced by Salman Khan and his family from organized crime. The actor has been a vocal critic of Bishnoi in the past, potentially fueling the ongoing feud.
