Ariana Grande has officially unveiled her r.e.m. beauty x Wicked makeup collection, bringing the whimsical world of Oz to life. The collection, inspired by the upcoming film adaptation of the beloved musical, features an array of products designed to capture the essence of both Glinda and Elphaba.

Grande, who plays Glinda in the film, has been deeply invested in the project. She personally developed the collection, drawing inspiration from the stage show, movie, and books. The collection includes an eyeshadow palette featuring ethereal pinks and greens, personalized bundles for each character, three lip stains, a pH-adjusting lip oil, and more.

The “7 Rings” singer emphasized the importance of separating her personal persona from the character of Glinda, highlighting how beauty played a crucial role in her transformation. “Beauty really helped me deconstruct that person and find Glinda,” she said, adding that the process included going blonde and experimenting with different eyebrow shades and wigs.

Grande also shared her emotional response to hearing the soundtrack mixes, saying it brought tears to her eyes. “I was sitting in my childhood bedroom with the poster across from my bed signed by the original Broadway cast and listening to our mixes of the soundtrack,” she revealed. “It was really emotional. I just burst into tears.”

The Wicked makeup collection launches on the r.e.m. beauty website at midnight ET on October 1 and will also be available at Ulta. “Wicked Part 1” arrives in theaters on November 22, 2024.
