Wed Sep 18 00:37:00 UTC 2024: ## Uber Freight Unveils Revamped Transportation Management System at Deliver Conference

**AUSTIN, TEXAS** – Uber Freight is making waves in the logistics industry with a suite of upgrades to its Transportation Management System (TMS), unveiled at its annual Deliver conference last week.

The new features are designed to offer shippers greater transparency, control, and intelligence across their entire supply chain. Key improvements include:

* **Simplified Dock Scheduling:** Streamlined dock scheduling processes for smoother operations.
* **Streamlined Load Management:** A user-friendly interface for efficient load management.
* **Enhanced Location Tracking:** Improved carrier tracking with real-time location data.
* **Redesigned Routing Guide:** Optimizes routes for increased efficiency.
* **Advanced Financial Tools:** Offers enhanced visibility, forecasting, and carrier payment processing.

Uber Freight emphasizes that its TMS is a modern, flexible platform that contrasts with traditional, one-size-fits-all solutions. “We’re not just enhancing our TMS; we’re reimagining what a TMS can be,” said company leadership.

The company also unveiled new features including improvements to AI and procurement tools, as well as the integration of Uber Freight with Uber Direct, its same-day local delivery service for small packages. This integration will allow Uber Freight to expand its last-mile capabilities, according to Uber Freight CEO Lior Ron.

Uber Freight, which launched its app in 2017, has been focusing on owner-operators and small fleets, offering a platform for booking loads. The company continues to emphasize its automatic rebooking and up-front pricing features in a competitive market.
