Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback now embarking on a career as a Fox broadcaster, has expressed admiration for his former New England Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, and his ventures in the media.
Speaking on Monday’s episode of the “Let’s Go!” podcast, Brady praised Belichick’s insights and experience, stating, “I actually think coach has done an amazing job in the roles that he’s been in…so insightful. All his experience over so many years, I don’t think you could have a better person be involved for the public to actually listen to how games are being called.”
Brady, who spent two decades learning from Belichick in New England, highlighted his coach’s deep understanding of the game, saying, “He’s got so much insight into the history of the game, and I’ve learned a lot seeing it sitting in those team meeting rooms for 20 years…He’s doing a great job.”
Belichick, who parted ways with the Patriots this offseason, has embraced a variety of media roles, including co-hosting “The Breakdown with Peyton and Belichick” with Peyton Manning, appearing on “ManningCast” during Monday Night Football, and contributing to the “Let’s Go!” podcast, “Inside the NFL,” and Pat McAfee’s show.
While rumors swirl about Belichick’s potential return to coaching, he is currently enjoying a busy media schedule. Brady, meanwhile, has already begun his own broadcasting journey, calling the first two Dallas Cowboys games of the season for Fox and is set to do the same for their Week 3 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. It seems the lessons learned from his time with Belichick are serving Brady well as he navigates this new chapter in his career.
