Seattle, WA – Get ready for a weekend of pumpkin-spiced goodness as Elysian Brewing’s Great Pumpkin Beer Festival (GPBF) celebrates its 20th anniversary this October 4th and 5th at the Seattle Center.
This year’s event, presented by The Vera Project, promises an unparalleled selection of over 80 pumpkin beers and ciders from local and national breweries. Festival attendees will have the chance to sample eight new, exclusive brews from Elysian, available only at the festival.
Beyond the impressive beer selection, GPBF features a full carnival atmosphere, complete with live DJ sets, food trucks serving up carnival favorites, fortune teller readings, and even beer floats in partnership with Bluebird Ice Cream.
The event wouldn’t be complete without its legendary costume contest. This year’s theme is “ORANGE,” encouraging attendees to embrace their inner pumpkin spirit.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating two decades of this iconic event,” said a spokesperson for Elysian Brewing. “The GPBF has become a Seattle tradition, and we’re excited to share this year’s unique lineup with our passionate fans.”
**Tickets for the festival are already sold out.** However, beer enthusiasts can still get a taste of the festivities at the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off, taking place on Saturday, September 28th at Elysian Taproom in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. This free event welcomes all ages and features farmers showcasing their giant pumpkins, live music, face painting, and pumpkin carving.
The weigh-off provides a sneak peek at the festival’s most unique offering – giant pumpkins, filled with beer and tapped live at the event.
100% of ticket proceeds from the festival benefit The Vera Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation through music and art.
