Spectrum Internet, a top-rated cable internet provider, is making waves with new customer-centric initiatives, including automatic speed upgrades, lower pricing and bundled discounts.
Existing customers with Spectrum Internet and Internet Ultra plans have already seen their speeds boosted from 300Mbps to 400Mbps and 500Mbps to 600Mbps, respectively, at no extra cost. New customers can now get internet as low as $30 a month when bundled with other services.
Spectrum has also introduced a new Internet Premier plan offering speeds up to 500Mbps for $50 a month. The company’s gig service, offering download speeds up to 1000Mbps, remains at $70 per month but now includes free Wi-Fi, saving customers $10 a month.
While introductory prices are attractive, be aware that both plans will see a $30 monthly price increase after 12 months. To offset this, Spectrum is offering significant discounts on internet bundles with Spectrum TV and mobile phone lines. Bundling internet with two mobile lines, for example, can bring the internet price down to $30 for 500Mbps or $40 for gig service.
“This new commitment to our customers goes beyond words; it is about action,” stated Cliff Hagan, executive vice president of customer operations for Charter Communications, Inc. “If we are charging for a service, it should work all the time; if it doesn’t, our customers should trust that we’ll make it right.”
With its improved speed, transparent pricing, no data caps or contracts, and improving customer satisfaction, Spectrum is a compelling choice for internet service. To learn more about Spectrum Internet, visit CNET’s Internet hub page.
