**FRANKFORT, KY (AP)** – Authorities believe they have found the body of Joseph Couch, the suspect in the September 7th shooting on Interstate 75 near London, Kentucky. The body was discovered Wednesday following an extensive search of the rugged terrain in the area.
Couch is suspected of firing on a dozen vehicles, injuring five people. The shooting sparked widespread fear in the community and led to a massive search effort involving hundreds of law enforcement officers.
While authorities have not yet officially confirmed the identity of the body, accessories found with the remains have led them to believe it is Couch.
