**NEW DELHI:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 on Tuesday, with greetings pouring in from President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and leaders across the political spectrum. Modi, who spent his birthday in Odisha, launched various state government initiatives and projects during the day.
President Murmu wished Modi a long and healthy life, praising his “innovative efforts” to make India a developed nation. Vice President Dhankhar lauded Modi’s leadership, stating that he has “aroused the soul of Bharat” and set the country on an “unprecedented developmental trajectory”.
BJP president JP Nadda highlighted Modi’s dedication to serving the country and humanity, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded his tireless work and foresight.
Despite political differences, several opposition leaders also extended their birthday wishes to the prime minister.
