**LOS ANGELES** – The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver responsible for a hit-and-run incident that left a 63-year-old woman with serious injuries. The incident occurred in the Sherman Oaks area on Wednesday, with the suspect vehicle last seen heading westbound on Davana Terrace after traveling southbound on Costello Avenue.

Police reported that the driver failed to stop and render aid to the injured woman. Paramedics transported her to a local hospital for treatment.

“Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,” stated the police department in a press release.

The City of Los Angeles offers a $25,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of a suspect in an injury hit-and-run case.
