Tue Sep 17 18:01:00 UTC 2024: ## Logitech Expands G Pro Racing Wheel Ecosystem with New Wheels, Accessories, and Adapter

**Logitech** has announced a slew of new products designed to enhance its top-tier **G Pro Racing Wheel** ecosystem. This includes new wheels for both rally and open-wheel racing fans, a combined shifter and handbrake, and an adapter that lets users connect most steering wheels to the Pro Base.

The new **Track Wheel** is specifically designed for F1 fans, offering a compact, cut-down design mimicking actual F1 cars. Meanwhile, the **Round Wheel** is a more traditional option for a variety of racing games. Both wheels are compatible with the existing G Pro Racing Wheel kit, allowing users to swap the central section with buttons, dials, and LED indicators.

Logitech is also selling the **Pro Base** and **RS Wheel Hub** separately for users who don’t already own the G Pro Racing Wheel. The Pro Base is priced at $600 (€650) while the RS Wheel Hub costs $130 (€140).

For those looking for a more premium experience, Logitech has partnered with **Momo** to release two new wheels: the **Sim GT 290** and the **Sim Racer 320**. These wheels are inspired by real-world racing and are designed to complement the G Pro Racing Wheel ecosystem.

The most exciting news for sim racers is the release of the **RS QR Adapter**. This adapter allows users to connect almost any steering wheel with 70/50.8 mm bolt patterns or rear mounting to the Pro Base, opening up a world of customization possibilities.

Logitech is also releasing the **RS Shifter & Handbrake**, a versatile accessory that can function as both a sequential shifter and a handbrake. It offers height adjustments and precise actuation feedback for a tactile response. The RS Shifter & Handbrake is priced at $150 (€160) and is expected to be available in September in the EU, followed by a global release in October.

These new additions to the G Pro Racing Wheel ecosystem represent a significant step for Logitech as it competes with brands like Fanatec and Moza. The expansion of the ecosystem provides sim racers with more options for customization and expands the appeal of the G Pro Racing Wheel. All of these new products are set to launch in September, making it an exciting time for sim racing enthusiasts.
