**PAYSON, Ill.** – The Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders volleyball team continued their winning streak Wednesday night, defeating the Payson Seymour Indians in straight sets 25-8 and 25-7. The victory pushed QND’s record to 17-2, while Payson-Seymour fell to 3-5.

The Lady Raiders showcased their dominance throughout the game, displaying strong teamwork and relentless aggression. Senior libero Kourtney Keck highlighted the team’s positive mindset and focus, stating, “We had a lot of positivity on the court, and that played a big part of it.”

QND head coach Danielle White credited the team’s success to their ability to overcome adversity and their strong chemistry, adding, “We’re really working on overcoming adversity when things don’t go our way…we have crazy chemistry together.”

Despite the loss, Payson-Seymour head coach Stacy Gilmore praised QND’s talent and experience, noting, “Their starting lineup has been playing together for quite some time, so that does make a huge difference.” Gilmore remained positive about her team’s future, saying, “Our girls work hard, so every match we learn from and just come back tomorrow stronger.”

QND will host the Brown County Hornets on Thursday night, with a rematch against the Payson Seymour Indians scheduled for Friday.
