**Toronto, ON -** The largest Lotto Max prize in Canadian history has been claimed, with two winning tickets splitting the record-breaking $80 million jackpot in the Sept. 17 draw. One lucky ticket was sold in Grey County, Ontario, while the other was purchased in Quebec.

Each winning ticket holder will receive a staggering $40 million, according to Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) spokesperson Tony Bitonti. “Canada’s first record-breaking $80 million Lotto Max jackpot has been won following last night’s draw,” Bitonti said.

In addition to the grand prize winners, numerous Maxmillions tickets were also sold, offering additional chances for players to win big.

“Please check your tickets as soon as possible on the OLG App or at a retailer near you,” Bitonti urged.
