India ended the day on 344/4, with the duo putting on a 150-run partnership that effectively neutralized the Bangladesh bowling attack.
Ashwin was particularly aggressive, smashing 15 boundaries and two sixes in his knock. Jadeja, too, played with confidence, hitting 11 fours. The pair batted with a mixture of caution and aggression, frustrating the Bangladeshi bowlers throughout the day.
