**London, UK -** Triumph Motorcycles has announced a major update to its popular Speed Twin 1200 motorcycle, introducing a more powerful engine, refined styling, and an all-new, higher-spec RS variant for 2025.
The standard Speed Twin 1200 receives subtle yet significant upgrades. Its 1200cc parallel-twin engine now produces 105 horsepower, a 5-horsepower increase over the previous model. The bike also benefits from updated riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and a revised riding position with higher handlebars. Aesthetically, the Speed Twin boasts a sculpted fuel tank, new side panels, and a redesigned headlight and display.
However, the real headliner is the new Speed Twin 1200 RS. This model takes the standard Speed Twin’s improvements and pushes them to the next level. The RS features fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema calipers, Metzeler Racetec RR tires, and a sportier riding position. It also gets an additional Sport riding mode and a quick-shifter, a first for the modern Bonneville platform.
Visually, the RS boasts a distinct color palette (Baja Orange or Sapphire Black), unique decals, contrast stitching on the seat, and brushed aluminum fenders.
Both the Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS will be available from December 2025. Pricing starts at £12,495 for the standard model and £14,495 for the RS model in the UK. In the US, pricing starts at $13,595 and $15,995, respectively.
Triumph’s latest Speed Twin models offer a compelling combination of performance, style, and technology, making them ideal for both experienced riders and those looking for a sporty and versatile modern classic.
