**Indianapolis, IN** – Two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, along with former Defensive Players of the Year Luke Kuechly and Terrell Suggs, and legendary kicker Adam Vinatieri, are among the players nominated for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class. This marks their first year of eligibility.
Manning, the brother of fellow Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories, including a stunning upset over the undefeated New England Patriots in 2007. He was known for his clutch performances in big games and will be aiming to join the ranks of other legendary quarterbacks in Canton.
Kuechly, a dominant linebacker, was a five-time All-Pro in his eight-year career with the Carolina Panthers. He is widely considered one of the best defensive players of his generation, known for his intelligence, athleticism, and tackling prowess.
Suggs, a ferocious pass rusher, racked up 139 sacks in his 17-year career, placing him eighth on the all-time list since sacks became an official statistic in 1982. He played a key role in the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl victory in 2012 and later helped the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl in 2019.
Vinatieri, one of the most clutch kickers in NFL history, holds the record for most points and field goals in the league. He was a pivotal figure in New England’s early dynasty, including making the game-winning field goal in the “Tuck Rule” game against the Raiders in 2001, as well as the Super Bowl victories in 2002 and 2004.
The Hall of Fame selection process will involve a screening committee narrowing the list of nominees to 50 players. The final selection committee will then choose 15 finalists, with players needing 80% of the vote to be inducted.
