**Miami, FL** – The Latin Recording Academy is gearing up for its 25th anniversary celebration, and this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards are set to be bigger than ever. Returning to Miami after a three-year hiatus, the ceremony will honor the best of Latin music and recognize the contributions of a diverse group of creators.
Leading the pack with the most nominations are hitmakers **Édgar Barrera**, **Karol G**, and **Bad Bunny**. Producer and songwriter Édgar Barrera, who scored three wins last year, is nominated for nine awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Producer of the Year. He’s been recognized for his work with artists like Karol G, Shakira, and Grupo Frontera.
Superstars Karol G and Bad Bunny, meanwhile, secured eight nominations each. Karol G’s album “Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)” is in the running for Album of the Year, while Bad Bunny’s “Monaco” is competing for Record of the Year.
This year’s Best New Artist category features emerging talents Agris, Kevin Aguilar, Darumas, Nicolle Horbath, Latin Mafia, Cacá Magalhães, Os Garotin, Iñigo Quintero, Sofi Saar, and Ela Taubert.
The 2024 Latin GRAMMY Awards will also introduce two new categories: Best Latin Electronic Music Performance and Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album, reflecting the growing diversity and influence of Latin music worldwide.
