Wed Sep 18 00:51:38 UTC 2024: ## Beckham to Host “Beckham and Friends” Live Show During Champions League on Paramount+
**London, England** – Soccer icon David Beckham will host a live show called “Beckham and Friends” during the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League on Paramount+. The show will air during the second legs of both Champions League semifinals in 2025 and 2026, as well as the finals in both years.
Beckham, a Champions League winner with Manchester United in 1999, made the announcement during a surprise appearance on CBS Sports’ pre-match show “UEFA Champions League Today.” He revealed that “Beckham and Friends” will feature a mix of personalities from the worlds of sports and entertainment, offering a unique perspective on the games.
“I think each time [it] will be a different personality and person, a friend of mine,” Beckham said. “I love watching the game and I like watching the game in a certain way, and most of the time it’s either with my kids or with my friends so it’s going to be that kind of thing where I’m sat there, watching the games, commenting on the games with friends, talking about the game.”
While Beckham confirmed that some guests are already lined up, he declined to reveal their names, hinting that one might be from the entertainment industry. However, he did confirm that the guest wouldn’t be Tom Brady, the former NFL star who he sat next to at a recent Birmingham City match.
Beckham also provided some insights into his own football opinions, expressing excitement about Real Madrid’s chances of winning the Champions League this year, and praising Kylian Mbappe’s impact at the Spanish club.
“Beckham and Friends” promises to be a unique and entertaining addition to CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage. Fans can expect to see a mix of insightful analysis, lighthearted banter, and celebrity appearances as David Beckham shares his love of the game with his friends.
