**Swindon, UK** – Bradley Walsh’s son, Barney Walsh, has been fined £1,000 for speeding at 95mph on the M4 in March. The 26-year-old actor and presenter, known for his roles in *Casualty* and *Gladiators*, was branded “arrogant” by a magistrate for failing to appear in person at Swindon Magistrates Court.

Barney Walsh was summoned to court to enter a plea for the speeding offense, but instead chose to plead guilty by post. This prompted Presiding Magistrate Mark Baker to criticize the actor’s absence, stating, “We find this a little bit arrogant that this plea is coming from a firm representing Mr Walsh when he was summoned to appear here.”

The magistrate highlighted that other individuals had traveled significant distances to attend court, suggesting Walsh’s non-appearance was disrespectful.

While the usual fine for such an offense is £2,500, the magistrate reduced the fine to £1,000, giving Walsh the benefit of the doubt regarding the exact speed he was travelling at.

In addition to the fine, Walsh was ordered to pay £490 in court costs and received five penalty points on his license, bringing his total to eight.
