**Buffalo, NY** – James Cook, the Buffalo Bills’ running back, has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 2 of the NFL season. The recognition comes after Cook delivered a stellar performance in the Bills’ 31-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins, scoring three touchdowns – two rushing and one receiving.
Cook’s performance included a 49-yard rushing touchdown, currently the longest rushing touchdown in the NFL this season. He finished the game with 96 total scrimmage yards (78 rushing, 18 receiving).
The Bills, who now sit at 2-0 on the season, will be looking to Cook to continue his strong start as they head into Week 3.
