Jenn Tran’s ex-fiancé, Devin Strader, is facing scrutiny following revelations of his past legal troubles. Documents obtained by People magazine reveal that the 28-year-old reality TV personality was arrested in 2017 for allegedly burglarizing the apartment of a former girlfriend in Louisiana.
The incident occurred after Strader’s ex-girlfriend, who had filed a restraining order against him, returned home from a trip to find her belongings ransacked and a diamond necklace missing. Strader, who had allegedly purchased the necklace for his then-girlfriend, was suspected of taking it.
Further allegations against Strader include repeated violations of the restraining order. According to court documents, the ex-girlfriend claimed Strader would “come to her house banging on the door several times and screaming at her.” In one instance, he allegedly burned the restraining order in the street.
Strader was also reportedly arrested for driving while intoxicated in Louisiana. The ex-girlfriend stated in court documents, “I cannot live my life with him continuing to contact me EVEN with a restraining order.”
As a result of these allegations, Strader was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and required to pay a fine and complete community service.
This news comes amid the ongoing drama surrounding Strader and Tran’s relationship. Tran claimed Strader broke up with her via a “two-minute phone call” and quickly moved on to another woman. Strader, however, has denied Tran’s version of events, calling them “incredibly inaccurate.”
