Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has dispelled rumors that the Ambani family paid celebrities to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish wedding celebrations. Speaking to Mashable India, Panday, who was a prominent guest at the wedding, stated that she and other Bollywood actors attended the wedding purely out of friendship.

“No! I don’t know why people think that,” she said, dismissing the notion that celebrities were paid to attend. “They are my friends. So obviously, I will dance like that only for my friend’s wedding, right?”

Panday also shared her personal takeaway from the grand event, highlighting the palpable love between the newlyweds amidst the extravagant celebrations. “One big takeaway from the wedding was that so much was happening, but whenever Anant and Radhika would look at each other, it was just pure love,” she revealed. “It felt like violins were playing behind them. That’s something I want in life — that no matter how much chaos is around, you and that person share that connection.”

The actress further praised the Ambanis for their hospitality and their ability to make every guest feel welcome. “They greeted everyone with so much love and warmth,” she said. “That’s such a great quality because it makes everything feel very personal.”

While addressing the wedding, Panday also hinted at her own blossoming romance with American model Walker Blanco, who she introduced at the Ambani wedding.
