**Sharjah:** In a stunning upset, Afghanistan has defeated South Africa by 6 wickets in the first ODI of the series. Afghanistan bowled out South Africa for a paltry 106 runs before chasing down the target in just 26 overs.
The match was a complete domination by the Afghan bowlers, who dismantled the South African batting lineup. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets for just 35 runs in 7 overs, including a maiden. Allah Ghazanfar also shone with 3 wickets for 20 runs in 10 overs, which included 2 maidens. Rashid Khan took 2 wickets in 8.3 overs, also delivering 2 maidens.
