Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Speed T4, its most affordable offering in India, targeting the growing segment of retro-styled motorcycles. Priced to compete with popular models like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Hero Mavrick 440, and Jawa 42FJ, the Speed T4 aims to bring more customers into the Triumph brand.
Based on the successful Speed 400, the Speed T4 features cost-effective components to keep the price down. This includes using conventional telescopic forks instead of USD forks and omitting features like radial tires and traction control. It retains the 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine but delivers slightly less power at 30.6bhp and 36Nm of torque.
Despite the budget-friendly approach, the Speed T4 retains the 17-inch wheels at both ends and the 6-speed gearbox of its sibling. It is available in three stylish colours: Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Cocktail Red Wine Red. Bookings are open online and at all Triumph India showrooms.
With the Speed T4, Triumph hopes to capture a wider audience with its iconic styling and accessible price point, further solidifying its presence in the competitive Indian market.
