Wed Sep 18 03:11:20 UTC 2024: ## Triumph Unveils Speed T4: A Retro-Inspired Take on the Speed 400
Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its Indian portfolio with the launch of the Speed T4, a stylish retro-inspired motorcycle based on the popular Speed 400 platform. Priced at ₹2.17 lakh (ex-showroom), the Speed T4 aims to compete in the crowded 350-500 cc retro motorcycle segment, taking on rivals like the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, RE Scram 411, Honda CB350RS, and Harley-Davidson X440.
The Speed T4 boasts a fresh aesthetic, featuring a redesigned fuel tank with eye-catching graphics, a revised seat, and new bar-end mirrors. However, it retains the core architecture of its predecessor, including the powerful 398 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine delivers 30.6 bhp and 36Nm of torque, with 85% of peak torque available at just 2500 rpm, ensuring a responsive riding experience.
Despite its vintage charm, the Speed T4 is equipped with modern features such as full LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, a semi-digital instrument panel, and advanced suspension with 43 mm telescopic forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
The Speed T4 is available in three striking color options: white, red, and black. Bookings have commenced on Triumph’s official website, with deliveries expected to begin within the next few days.
Triumph’s latest offering is designed to appeal to a diverse customer base, solidifying its presence in the thriving retro motorcycle market. The Speed T4 promises a blend of classic design, modern performance, and advanced features, making it a compelling choice for enthusiasts looking for a stylish and capable ride.
