**Brussels, Belgium – September 17, 2024** – Vastned Belgium NV has announced the appointment of Barbara Gheysen as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Gheysen brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent a significant portion of her career at EY, where she served as audit director for various real estate investment companies (RRECs) and pension funds. Her expertise extends beyond audit, as she also holds the title of Certified Public Accountant and an FSMA accreditation, allowing her to sign off on regulated companies.

Prior to joining Vastned Belgium, Gheysen held the position of CFO at the Belgian real estate developer Kolmont for the past three years.

In her new role, Gheysen will play a crucial part in supporting CEO Sven Van Geert and the entire Vastned Belgium team as they navigate the company’s transformation.
