**KOTA BARU, Sept 18** – PAS has firmly denied issuing a statement regarding the suspension of its Perlis information chief, Mohd Saifizi Saidon.
Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, PAS Secretary-General, dismissed the viral statement alleging disciplinary action against Saifizi as “false.” He clarified that no action has been taken against Saifizi, but the matter is currently under observation by the party.
The viral statement claimed that disciplinary action was taken against Saifizi for delivering an “improper and irresponsible” speech at the recent 70th PAS Annual Muktamar in Pahang. It further alleged that the PAS Disciplinary Committee had decided to indefinitely suspend Saifizi’s membership.
Takiyuddin made the clarification to reporters after attending the Kelantan Lantern Festival 2024 last night.
