Tue Sep 17 05:09:55 UTC 2024: ## Supergrass to Celebrate 30th Anniversary with Debut Album Tour
Oxford-based Britpop band Supergrass will embark on a ten-date UK tour next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, “I Should Coco.” The tour, kicking off on May 8th, 2025, in Glasgow, will be the first time the band has ever played the album in its entirety live.
Supergrass, who reunited in 2020 after a decade-long hiatus, took a playful jab at fellow Britpop icons Oasis in their announcement, referencing the recent controversy surrounding dynamic pricing for Oasis’ comeback shows. The Supergrass tour, however, will not employ dynamic pricing, ensuring fans can enjoy the show without inflated ticket prices.
The tour will see Supergrass perform “I Should Coco” in full, alongside a selection of fan favorite tracks from their later albums. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10:00 BST, with a pre-sale starting Wednesday at the same time. The tour will be the only UK and European dates for the band in 2025, making it a must-see for fans.
“I Should Coco,” released in 1995, was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one on the UK album charts. The album features iconic tracks like “Alright” and “Caught by the Fuzz,” and is packed with references to Oxford, including the song “Strange Ones,” written about the Cowley Road.
