Tue Sep 17 07:22:06 UTC 2024: ## Dalí Museum Launches Immersive VR Experience to Bring Surrealist Master to Life

**St. Petersburg, FL** – The Dalí Museum, renowned for its extensive Salvador Dalí collection, is taking a leap into the future with “Dreams of Dalí,” a groundbreaking virtual reality experience that plunges viewers into the mind of the surrealist master.

The museum, which has traditionally drawn visitors primarily from Florida, sought to broaden its appeal and attract a national audience. “Dreams of Dalí” aims to achieve this goal by offering an unprecedented glimpse into the creative process of one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century.

The VR experience takes users inside Dalí’s early masterpiece, “The Archeological Reminiscence of Millet’s ‘Angelus’,” allowing them to witness the genesis of the iconic painting before the first brushstroke. The immersive environment, which features a five-minute, 360-degree interactive video, lets viewers explore Dalí’s imagination, hear his thoughts, and discover the roots of his later creations.

“Dreams of Dalí” is not just a captivating VR experience; it’s a new way to engage with art. The museum hopes to ignite a passion for Dalí’s work in a younger generation, while reaffirming its position as a pioneer in the art world.

“We wanted to create something that would resonate with audiences beyond Florida,” said Hank Hine, Executive Director of The Dalí Museum. “This VR experience offers a unique and engaging way to explore the life and work of Salvador Dalí, and we believe it will appeal to art lovers of all ages.”

The museum’s Director of Marketing, Kathy Greif, added, “This project is a testament to our commitment to innovation and to reaching new audiences. We are thrilled to be offering this immersive experience to our visitors.”

“Dreams of Dalí” is currently available at The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
