**Faridabad:** A gym operator was brutally murdered in Ajraunda village, Faridabad, late Sunday night, allegedly by a group of youths. The victim, identified as Raju Sharma alias Rajesh Sharma (44), was reportedly engaged in a monetary dispute with a local resident, Kallu Pandit.
According to the police, the altercation escalated into a violent attack, with the assailants using rods, iron pipes, and sticks. Two nephews of the victim, who rushed to his aid, were also severely injured and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The incident was reported by one of the nephews, Shivam, who stated that his uncle had been involved in financial dealings with Kallu Pandit. The dispute led to a fight outside the village in the late evening, followed by a fatal attack later that night.
An FIR has been registered at the Central police station in Faridabad based on the complaint. The accused, including Kallu Pandit, are currently absconding and the police are actively pursuing their arrest.
