**LOS ANGELES, CA** – Tim Robinson, known for his offbeat comedy in “I Think You Should Leave,” is bringing his unique brand of humor to the big screen with “Friendship,” a new comedy he co-stars in alongside Paul Rudd. The film has been acquired by A24, the indie studio behind critically acclaimed films like “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

“Friendship” centers around a suburban dad (Robinson) who becomes obsessed with befriending his charismatic new neighbor (Rudd). The film also features a star-studded cast including Kate Mara, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Josh Segarra.

The comedy was directed by Andrew DeYoung, who also penned the script. “Friendship” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received positive early reviews, with critics praising its nuanced exploration of adult friendships.

Robinson’s comedic talents are also showcased in his upcoming HBO series “The Chair Company,” which he created with writing partner Zach Kanin. “The Chair Company” follows a man (Robinson) investigating a workplace conspiracy after an embarrassing incident.
