The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 exam. Applications are now open and can be submitted online at ctet.nic.in starting today, September 17th, 2024. The last date to apply is October 16th, 2024.

The CTET December 2024 exam is scheduled for December 1st, 2024. Paper-2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper-1 will be held in the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

**Here’s a step-by-step guide for applying:**

1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on “Apply Online”.
3. Register and note your registration/application number.
4. Fill out the application form.
5. Upload scanned copies of your latest photograph and signature.
6. Review your application form carefully before submitting.
7. Pay the application fee.
8. Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
9. Keep a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

**Application Fees:**

* **Paper 1 or Paper 2 (One Paper):**
* General/OBC-NCL: ₹1000
* SC/ST/PwD: ₹500
* **Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Both Papers):**
* General/OBC-NCL: ₹1200
* SC/ST/PwD: ₹600

**Eligibility Criteria:**

* **For Paper 1 (Classes 1-5):**
* 12th pass with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
* 12th pass with 50% marks and a 4-year B.EI.Ed.
* 12th pass with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
* **For Paper 2 (Classes 6-8):**
* Graduation and Diploma in Elementary Education
* Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.
* 12th pass with 50% marks and a 4-year B.EI.Ed.
* 12th pass with 50% marks and a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
* Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)
