“I’d describe it as having old skin with new bones,” says Michael Skala, managing director of Willow Development Group, the developers behind Cove. “We knew we had to keep the facade. I love heritage, the reason I got into property development was to try and preserve it.”

“We wanted to give people the best of what’s available in the market in terms of finishes and appliances,” Skala explains. “By preserving a good part of the original building – and not having to build from scratch – there is a significant cost reduction, which is then passed directly onto the buyer.”

Each floor plan includes private alfresco dining spaces and a multipurpose room, perfect for a home office or media room. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025.

The coveted location, just steps from the sand of Coogee Beach and the popular Coogee Pavilion, promises a quintessential Sydney beach lifestyle. Apartment prices range from $2.2 million to $3.2 million.
